Daniel R. Klosowski

Daniel R. Klosowski is a Chicago workers’ compensation and personal injury lawyer and a partner at McHargue & Jones, LLC, where he represents injured workers and accident victims throughout Chicago, Cook County, and the surrounding Chicagoland counties, including Will County, DuPage County, and Kane County.

Dan was born and raised in LaPorte, Indiana, and graduated summa cum laude from Valparaiso University in 2009. He earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he began working as a law clerk for the Law Offices of James P. McHargue during his second year of law school. From early in his legal career, Dan focused on representing injured workers and building strong courtroom advocacy skills.

After graduating from Chicago-Kent and obtaining his Illinois law license in 2012, Dan practiced with a workers’ compensation law firm in the Chicago suburbs, where he tried numerous cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He has also argued cases on appeal before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, the Circuit Court of Cook County, and the Illinois Appellate Court, giving him deep familiarity with complex and contested workers’ compensation claims.

Dan has extensive experience representing Chicago-area construction workers and other laborers injured on the job, as well as workers in physically demanding industries throughout Chicagoland. He regularly handles claims involving serious workplace injuries, disputed workers’ compensation cases, and personal injury matters arising from construction accidents, falls, and industrial incidents.

Since returning to McHargue & Jones, LLC in 2014, Dan has continued to represent injured workers and accident victims in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases across Chicago and the surrounding counties. He is known for his thorough case preparation, trial experience, and ability to guide clients through every stage of the legal process—from initial claim through litigation and appeal when necessary.

Dan is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. He lives in Chicago, maintaining strong personal and professional ties to the community he serves.
